In 1998, we set out to supplement income from our seasonal lawn care business in Western North Carolina by offering residential garbage pickup in rural Mitchell County. What began with a trailer outfitted with plywood sideboards and just five customers quickly grew into something much more. With help from my father and brother—who later joined me full-time—our small operation evolved into a true family business. As customer needs expanded, we adapted—serving commercial clients by hand before acquiring our first trash truck in 1999. In 2000, we upgraded to a front-load truck, allowing us to provide efficient dumpster services for businesses in the area. Today, we proudly serve residents of Spruce Pine, Burnsville, and surrounding areas in Mitchell, Yancey, McDowell, and Avery counties. We are grateful to serve our community and excited about the future of our family-owned business.
